PairCalm ("we," "our," or "us") provides a collaborative household management tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Data: Name and email address collected via Firebase Authentication to identify users and link household partners.
- Household Content: Chores, task durations, and "Burst" messages created by users to synchronize data between linked devices.
- Audio Inputs: Voice recordings are processed only when you use the Voice Log feature. This audio is used solely for speech-to-text transcription and is not stored permanently as an audio file on our servers.
- Technical Identifiers: We collect non-identifying Firebase Installation IDs to facilitate secure data syncing and push notifications.
2. Use of Artificial Intelligence
PairCalm uses the Google Gemini API to provide "Coach Insights" and tone-shifting features.
- Data Processing: Recent tasks and messages are sent to the API to generate relationship insights.
- Privacy: We do not use your personal prompts to train AI models. Processing is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Data Storage & Sharing
- Storage: Data is stored securely using Google Firebase.
- Sharing: Your data is shared only with the specific partner you have linked to your Household ID. We do not sell or share your data with third-party advertisers.
4. Data Deletion & Management
- Delete All Data (Partial Deletion): Users may wipe all household content (chores, history, and preferences) without closing their account via the "Delete All Data" button in Settings.
- Full Account Deletion: Users may permanently delete their account and all associated personal data via the Settings menu.
